Adam Lambert rocks a pair of aviator glasses as he grabs lunch at Gjelina Restaurant with a female friend on Friday (June 17) in Venice, Calif.

The 29-year-old singer and songwriter was yet another victim of an online hoax where rumors were floating around that he had been in an accident.

Adam took to his Twitter to clear up the rumors.

“An accident?? Nope,” the American Idol finalist tweeted earlier today. “Where do these things come from?”

Adam then followed up, reassuring his fans, “Y’all can’t believe everything u read! Lol.”

But the duo did talk about how they managed to hate on each other for their recent flick Monte Carlo and that not knowing each other beforehand helped.

"When we first met, we obviously didn't know each other and we shot all the beginning stuff in the movie so it was easy to maybe not like her because towards the end of the movie it would've been really hard," Gomez said.

London, June 17 : Actor Russell Crowe is likely to play Jor-El, Superman's biological father, in the upcoming movie "Man of Steel".

RUSSELL CROWE "Gladiator" co-star Connie Nielsen is also reportedly in negotiation to play his wife Lara in the movie, reports dailystar.co.uk. 

If Crowe signs on, he'll join Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Kevin COSTNER in the movie to be directed by Zack Snyder.

In the 1978 original, late screen legend Marlon Brando had played Jor-El that also starred late Christopher Reeve.
